sooooooo. i heard a lot of disheartening news about VK.

a lot of drastic staff changes are going down...

im afraid the whole demographic of the velvet knights is gonna change.

which pretty much sucks because this was the corps i thought id be spending all my years marching with. however, thats changing.

WBA Championships - nov. 17-18
Santa Clara Vanguard audition - Nov.23-25(unconfirmed on dates)
Cavaliers Audition(might get vetoed by band) - Nov. 30th - Dec. 2 (Houston, Texas)
Concord Blue Devils Audition - Dec. 8th (RCC)
Arizona Academy Audition - Dec. 15th-16th(Tempe, Arizona)

nobody's on this site anymore, but i need to put this somewhere in case i lost my planner

or motivation...

and thats gonna be the hardest time everrrrr

ohhhhh man. tour is sweeeeet.

drum corps rocks my life. the only problem is that, i'm easily more comfortable with everybody else that ive been on tour with for the past 2 months or so then i am back here.

im afraid to go back to real life.

everybody in drum corps thinks sorta the same way, and evreybody cares about what they're doing there.

i only have 1 more week....

it was my dad's birthday on the 30th and i wasnt even here for it

it made me kinda sad, coz like. he's been such an inspiration to me. not in that he's taught me everything i know and he helps me out, but more like, he's been awesome and caring and because of that, i've set a standard for myself. whenever i do things i almost always think "would this make my dad proud?" and thats helped me get better at a lot of things and get me to where i am today

i was sad coz i couldnt share his b-day with him, but at the same time, i know he wouldn't want me to leave what i'm doing just for his birthday, he wants me to succeed even if it means being a little belated with seeing him.

i couldn't stop crying at the band banquet

so many people that im probably never gonna see again.

no matter how many times they say "i'll be back to visit"

i know its wishful thinking

i said it to people in middle school and i never come back

same theory at work here

and now it seems like all the people who love me are leaving

and all the people who hate me, are finally getting to me.

im not gonna be able to function next year
